There...and back again
homeward bound
Dear friends and fellow shanty fans
I reach out today from the warm, wind soaked, west coast of this great BIG country 🇨🇦
After three recuperative days crashing with friends on Vancouver Island, I am now ready to turn my little Subaru around and head back for home.
My return will take me further north and wildfires may come into play as they threaten many thousands of my fellow Canadians now forced from their own homes. Once again I am reminded of how lucky I am to have made it this far and look forward to all the songs I have left to sing before my journey is complete.
I have learned that the sum of our differences is never greater than the LOVE we share. Division is a disease and music is the medicine we all need right now to find a cure, so if I happen to pass close to your town please come out and SING along with me. Together, we can push back against the darkness and summon the light that lives within us all. A good song is a friend until the end and country united shall fear no foe.

Way hey and away we go…HOME ❤️

Enjoying your journey. Sad to miss all the west coast shows this time around. Hoping for some US shows sometime soon.
"I have learned that the sum of our differences is never greater than the LOVE we share. Division is a disease and music is the medicine we all need right now to find a cure." That is a great statement my friend and so true. Like Simani says (or said) Music and Friends:)
